  Hi Jamie I was there just a few months ago! The church is still part of my home but just out doing other things in tampa florida. We start over again by asking god to come into our lives and except us as who we are I believe that I can make an change. I want to be baptist this church is so great for me its friendly you find great people things to do you could proubuly express your emotions so I will not never give up on hope is were we could start an better future.

  FBC has taken me in like family and without pressure or coaxing. To be able to volunteer with their weekly food bank has given me a sense of community and the importance of helping others. I have also been plugged into operating certain audio/visual events, which I love to do and have previous experience with. Another aspect I look forward to each week is being involved in a small group with peers my age. We talk about God and life's ups and downs. Fbc has shown me how to implement my God given abilities so that I may engage in life instead of hide in fear.

  Welcoming and friendly Christians. Mom and I went to the first service, and though semi-full, people knew each other. Lots of traditional hymns in the first service, but there are two more services with different worship types.
  The sermon was exegetical and Biblically sound.
  I filled out the info card and received a handwritten welcome note in the mail. I also received two emails regarding different things I was interested in. Great work following up on visitors!
  Lastly, this group of Christians are active in meeting the needs of their immediate community: women's shelter, homeless shelter, Idaho food band, growth groups, small groups, another non-English speaking group meets in their basement, and more that I haven't discovered yet.
